Introduced to Kodiak Island in the early 1920s. These beautiful deer thrive in abundance on The Rock due to the habitat and no wolfs present on the island.

Waterfowl
Kodiak offers a wide range of waterfowl species to pursue. Including Harlequin, Old Squaw, Black/Whitewing/Surf Scoter, Barrows Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Mergansers and a wide verity of Puddle Ducks. Along with several Goose species (Emperor & Dusky Canadian).
Waterfowl season on Kodiak starts in October & extends into late January. Let us know what you would like to target and we will get you on the birds
Fishing
The waters surrounding Kodiak Island provide some of the best fishing Alaska has to offer.
We target all kinds of aggressive Rock Fish and Monster Lingcod that make delicious table fair. Using jigs we drift rock piles and pinnacles. You can expect fast pace, drag ripping action from the deaths of the ocean.
Crab
Unlike the rest of the state, Crab numbers in Kodiak remain healthy with generous limits. On your trip with us, we will be targeting Tanner Crab. Dropping pots in 300′ of water and harvesting enough crab for a feast you will never forget.
Spring Coastal Black Bear
Now offering Spring Coastal Black Bear hunts. With abundant hunting knowledge, across several of Alaska’s ports, The Rock will provide a next level, comfortable, hunting experience.

While traveling between hunting bays during the day, we are always looking for places to stop and catch dinner. There’s nothing like jigging up enough rockfish to make the freshest fish tacos you have ever had.
Spotted Prawns are also scattered throughout our bear hunting areas. being located in 400′-600′ of water these amazing “Shrimp” will likely be the best you have ever had.
